What will you be remembered for? The story of my life-changing encounter at OAU amphi theatre with late Myles Munroe

"That's my new ride and Africa is its first destination."

That was pastor Myles Munroe pointing at the projector screen in front of over 5000 thousand Obafemi Awolowo University students of which i was one, displaying the pictures of his brand new private jet which brought him to Nigeria.
I was at the University library around 9.30pm on a memorable night in 2010 when a wave of loud noise started streaming across my ears from the school largest auditorium "A 5000 capacity amphi theatre." The next voice i heard was that of a popular gospel artiste Gbenga Adenuga singing my school anthem in a beautiful version. That swept me off my feet, made me pack my books and headed straight to the hall to enjoy the night never knowing i was going to meet the great Myles Munroe.
After about an hour of wonderful singing and dancing, Pastor Myles Munroe got on stage and the rest was history. He started his preaching that night narrating his story from a dullard child to a successful man and his story changed something in me - I can achieve anything as long as i believe. It was a life changing night for thousands of us and i couldn't let him go without having a picture.
Seeing the same private jet which brought him to gain souls for Christ crash 2 days ago made my heart bleeds and filled with sorrow.
Even though no amount of tears will bring him back, that night memory is enough to immortalize him forever in my heart.
Pastor Myles, you came, you saw and you conquered. May your gentle soul rest in piece.
