True life story: Gold on my land and i don't know what to do

Dear Ghoks blog reader, i want you to please put yourself in my shoe and advice me accordingly after reading my story. Thanks in anticipation.
Shortly before my late father's demise, he told my that a miner friend of his discovered gold in our community and that the land on which our house was erected had the largest deposit.
In my research on how to explore and become rich, i found out that the government will take over any land where natural resources are found and the occupants will be relocated elsewhere as all lands belong to the government but i believe it's God's blessing to take me, my family and other villagers out of poverty and not for some pot belly fully feed politicians who've been stealing all our money.
No one else knows that there's gold in my village for now and i need your advice on what to do in other not to lose my golden chance to wealth.
