Filmmaker Mario Garza might just be the best boyfriend in the world.
A thoughtful boyfriend has scored some serious brownie points with his girlfriend after getting hundreds of strangers to wish her happy birthday.
Filmmaker Mario Garza took to the streets holding a sign asking members of the public to say ‘happy birthday Sarah’ to the camera.
He explained the couple both recently moved to Portland, Oregon, and didn't know many people.
“Sarah's birthday was this week and I wanted to give her something she would never forget,” he wrote on YouTube.
“We just moved to Portland and didn't know a lot of people. So I had an idea, What if I everyone in the city could wish her happy birthday?”
Hundreds more strangers have since wished Sarah a belated happy birthday on Facebook after the video racked up thousands of hits on YouTube.
