Osun workers to Aregbesola: Please pay our 2 months salary.
A walk across the Osun state's capital yesterday saw the majority of the state's workers pleading to the governor to settle their unpaid two months salary. In separate interviews with two labour leaders in the state who pleaded for anonymity, they said the governor tends to be interested only in the tribunal suit challenging his victory at the August 9 polls and now unconcerned about the workers welfare whom they said are working day and night tiredlessly for the growth and progress of the state. Though some workers claimed to have been paid september salary, others insisted that both their september and october's wages haven't been paid.
An effort to reach the Osun state government to hear their own side of the story was unsuccessful as calls put across to the state commissioner for information and strategy's line weren't answered as at the time of posting this story.
