Going by the defections of numerous PDP chieftains to the apc within the last one year, one would see clearly how Nigeria biggest opposition party, "APC" has gradually become another arm of the ruling party PDP and is not likely to be capable of wrestling power from the GEJ lead government.
The reason is simply that all the PDP defectors are likely to return to their former party or even go elsewhere if offered mouth-watering opportunities which they may not get in the APC and you should even expect them to as Nigerian politicians lack strong political ideology and are only after their pocket.
Should this happen and is likely to happen, the APC will be highly polarised, it's structure will crumble and the rest will be history. So if you are interested in Nigeria having a brand new purposeful government, you've got to get another platform to do that but definitely not the APC
