The southern senatorial zone in Nasarawa state on sunday was in turmoil as gunmen, suspected to be fulani herdsmen, descended heavily on Gidan Gambo, Abaagu, Atabela, Assakio, Assahangwa, Adamu Aggyo and host of other communities in a stream of free flowing coordinated attacks leaving not less than 20 persons dead and over 80 houses burnt.
This won't be the first time Nasarawa communities were attacked by suspected fulani insurgents as areas including Commpany, Wajo, Arikiya, Agwan Usman, Agwan Gindiri, Agwan Ali in the past have fallen victims of these blood sucking beasts suffering over 100 deaths.
Sunday's attack however began about 5pm leaving scores dead and multi-million naira property destroyed.
